I agree that there should not be forced prayer in Schools.
However, a group of football players decided to pray together. The Coach was there and decided to join the group and pray with them.
Of course the ACLU is suing.
Now, I agree that there should not be any school sponsored prayer, but I also defend his right as an individual to JOIN a student initiated prayer should he choose to do so. He has rights as an individual to JOIN a prayer.
Acting as a coach, should he initiate prayer? No. Acting as an individual should he be allowed to JOIN prayer? Of course, its his right to do so!
